For maths departments in international schools
Mathiter is a maths platform that teaches from the specific mistake a student just made.
Every wrong option in every question was written on purpose. Each one carries the name of the misconception that produces it, the student reasoning behind it, and an authored Socratic chain that walks the student back out — with a hint at every step, and the correct answer withheld to the end. Counted as leaf standards — the ones you actually teach — against English lecture scripts. Not topics, not chapters, not “aligned to.”
Grade 5, 6, 7, 8, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, AP Precalculus, AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Statistics, Digital SAT and ACT Math: 558 of 558 US leaf standards, complete, with an English lecture behind every one.
IB AA, IB AI, IGCSE 0580, Cambridge 9709, Cambridge Further 9231 and the UK National Curriculum have the full standard tree and the question bank, and thin lecture coverage — Further 9231 has none at all. Across all 19 tracks that is 665 lectures against 1,228 standards, and every row is in the matrix including the empty ones, with the counting rule printed above it.
The student interface is in English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Malay, and the in-lecture term lookup separates a word's everyday meaning from its mathematical one — the exact failure mode of a strong student sitting an English-medium maths exam in their second language.

IXL
IXL gives a SmartScore and, when a student misses, an explanation of the correct method. Mathiter gives the name of the wrong idea that student is holding, and a chain that starts there. This is the one line on your shelf where a replace decision genuinely exists — everything else here is addition.
Khan Academy
Free, enormous, and it runs the official College Board SAT prep, which ours is not. It is also accuracy-only by design, and it has no IB, no Cambridge and no ACT. Keep it.
Canvas
It keeps holding your courses and your grades. Mathiter has no LTI, no roster import and no grade passback — today it is a link in a module. That is precisely how Khan Academy already lives in your course.
What Mathiter does not do yet.
Written here rather than discovered in week three. This is the short list; the long ones are on the pages they belong to — what the department doesn't get is on the schools page, what the data doesn't have is on the data page, and everything with a status is on the roadmap.
The teacher console, the live classroom, the parent view and the student assignment screen are in Korean today. The student learning side is English. An English teacher build is in progress and we will not give you a date we cannot hold.
The assignment builder's curriculum tree is hardcoded to the US system. If you teach Grade 6 through AP Calculus AB this costs you nothing. If you teach IB or Cambridge, it costs you the builder — the standards and the items are there, the builder cannot walk them yet.
No LTI, no Clever, no ClassLink, no OneRoster, no roster import, no school-admin console — and no class or section entity. Google sign-in works. A teacher adds students one at a time. At a year group of eighty-five that is an afternoon, not an IT project, but it is not an integration and we will not call it one.
No efficacy study, no ESSA rating, no SOC 2, no ISO 27001, and no school we can name as a reference. You would be the first.
